 Taking Care of Your Jewellery
Storing silver in the open air and humidity for extended period of time can cause it to tarnish quickly. The tarnish will first appear a golden hues on the silver and then quickly turns to black. This is caused by oxidation and warm moisture in air.
To keep tarnish to a minimum we always advise customers to store luxury purchased from Colour Couture in the Silk Pouch in which it arrives. For light tarnish, we recommend using silver cleaning solution. Be careful not to soak gemstones and crystals in the solution.
